Going Home

I thought i would write a blog to celebrate the fact my first term at uni is nearly finished. Yet, i'm slightly confused if this is a good or bad thing. I feel like i've learnt nothing. but then i met some good friends and got to spend loads of time with Georgie (my boyfriend).

Lets review, its been 12 weeks. i have written 6 articles, and 1000 word essay. no wonder people think im on a doss course. over christmas i do have to write a 2000 word essay, which is for media. i feel a little challenged on that side of the course, but unfortunately i did alot of that work at A Level.

Christmas is coming, really looking forward to seeing the decorations at home. but buying presents is horrible. with not a lot of money, ive managed to buy my parents presents. no idea to get my sister. and i kinda cant afford what my boyfriend wants.

talking about christmas i had a funny conversation last night. what is in mince pies? the anon person didnt believe me that it is mincemeat. lol. if you think about it it does sound like it should be meat. but seriously thats whats in mince pies. and mincemeat is actually "mixture of chopped dried fruit, distilled spirits and spices." however it did originally contain meat, but not anymore hehe.

hope you all have a good christmas, will i remember to do this blog. that is the question. lets hope we are challenged next term. (though apparently we do less work next term hehe)
